Nicole takes an integrative approach to counseling, meeting clients right where they are, and customizing treatment to their individual needs. She uses evidence-based practices combining methodologies of behavior therapy, play therapy, parent-child interaction therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, cognitive behavior therapy, and mindfulness-based techniques. Along with individual therapy, Nicole offers small group therapy, and has also received formal training and supervision to conduct psychological and psychoeducational assessments for children with behavioral issues, developmental delays, and specific learning disabilities.
Nicole holds a Master of Education in Counseling degree and a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology with a Minor in Human Development and Family Studies all from the University of Houston.
